Three-Dimensional Triptycene-Based Covalent Organic Frameworks with ceq or acs Topology

چکیده

The growth of three-dimensional covalent organic frameworks (3D COFs) with new topologies is still considered as a great challenge due to limited availability high-connectivity building units. Here we report the design and synthesis 3D triptycene-based COFs, termed JUC-568 JUC-569, following deliberate symmetry-guided principle. By combining triangular prism (6-connected) node planar triangle (3-connected) or another node, targeted COFs adopt non-interpenetrated ceq acs topology, respectively. Both materials show permanent porosity impressive performance in adsorption CO2 (?98 cm3/g at 273 K 1 bar), CH4 (?48 especially H2 (up 274 2.45 wt % 77 which highest among porous reported date. This research thus provides promising strategy for diversifying based on complex blocks promotes their potential applications energy storage environment-related fields.
